Current State of Affairs

Currently as of writing this it is November 19th, 2024. Donald Trump is President Elect as of this moment he has gone ahead and started to fill out his cabinet positions including but not limited to Matt Gaetz for Attorney General, RFK Jr for HHS Secretary, Elon Musk for a new position Department of Governmental Efficiency (DOGE) what a nightmare we are living in. Let's go over them:

Matt Gaetz Attorney General:

Ahh yes Matt Gaetz, the Florida representative who was under investigation for sex trafficking, having sex with a 17 year old high school student, and showing lewd and disgusting photos on the house floor stood out to Trump as being perfect for his Attorney General.

Matt Gaetz who has now stepped down as representative in order to take on his new role did so with almost perfect timing just has the House Ethics Committee was to release their report. Now the HEC has no jurisdiction to release said report. Huh such wonderful timing.

In his time as a representative in the House he has done nearly nothing of great importance except of course get his own House Speaker Kevin McCarthy removed for not stopping the Ethics Committee investigation. 

Gaets of course claims this is a political witch hunt. Kevin McCarthy even said this on his own implying Gaetz tried to pressure him to stop said investigation. 

Gaetz even at the Republican National Convention approached McCarthy and antagonized the man for being there. I'm sure that Trump will hold this over his head if he does get through the confirmation hearings.

Robert F Kennedy Jr. HHS

RFK Jr. Being put in the HHS director spot is the craziest thing I think we can all agree on (hopefully). RFK is a staunch Vaccine opponent saying things like "No vaccines are safe and effective". If there's even an epidemic then we are screwed.

In 2019 RFK went to Samoa where he spewed his anti-science rethoric saying Vaccines were unsafe and cause everything from autism to schizophrenia. They then had a Measels outbreak that claimed the lives if 83 people mostly children. Proof that his "facts" are lies.

The RFK brain worm mems are great, but also true. This man had a worm. In his brain. Who knows how much this affected his decision making processes. Maybe that's what caused him to put a deceased bear in Central Park. Again this is something he did do.

Elon Musk Department of Governmental Efficiency 

Elon Musk the richest man on earth, the possible illegal immigrant from South Africa was once a leftist darling. Making electric cars, spouting leftist ideals and now has become one of the biggest benefactors of one of the biggest problems America has. Corporate subsidies. 

Although Donald Trump is for "drill, baby drill" Elon Musk on the other hand hopes to further expand his electric car brand Tesla. Currently Tesla is lobbying for further government hand outs to help his cars sell more. He has been vying for more government loans, tax breaks and more EV friendly policies. Former president Barack Obama help give Elon a 465 million dollar loan to design and proliferate EV sales way back in 2009.

Elon Musk has also used his space agency SpaceX to recieve government contracts and subsidies. The American tax payer has given Musk and SpaceX contacts worth up to 20 Billion dollars for... reasons. Not only that but he has also used his internet service Starlink as a way to get further contracts. With that he offered to use Starlink in Ukraine but then when he was told by other Republicans not to do that, he said he wasn't going to do it for free.

Not this man is going to be the head of DOGE. This guy who has his own interests in how the government spends his money claims he will cut everything. He says he is anti subsidie but has his hand out lobbying for his own companies. He says we may have to hurt while he sits atop the pile of cash as tall as Mount Everest.
